The Eureka County Sheriff's Office testing process may include; written examination, Nevada POST Physical Agility Standard Testing and an Oral Review Board. Successful candidates will then be required to complete an extensive background packet for a comprehensive investigation. The State of Nevada requires that all applicants successfully complete a truth verification examination, psychological examination along with drug and medical screening prior to appointment as a Peace Officer.
